He was born and trained in Milan, studying art at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. A few years ago, he moved to the province of Trento.
“I have decided to reveal the person behind the artist by sharing some of their personal thoughts and reflections that emerge during their interview and in their works.
I often find myself focusing on a single sentence from a book, or a single line from a song, because I find it interesting to pick out a detail from a work and invite the audience to linger on a particular detail that may hold a powerful meaning.
It is an invitation to pause for a moment, in a world that moves at a fast pace, which hastily interprets the meaning of its surroundings. A stroll along the path of art to allow time to observe and recognise oneself as a human being in the detail of a work, a discourse, as if it were a fragment of a mirror.
All this leads to a question: are we still capable of observing and allowing ourselves to be observed by art? It takes time, courage and a little humility that we may have lost.”
