A freelance author and illustrator with a deep passion for botany and female introspection. A feminist, anti-speciesist, vegan and proud mother of a little witch, she regularly runs courses in botanical, introspective and emotional drawing at her small studio in the centre of Bologna, on Via Fondazza.

INDOMITE
… and rebellious, intelligent and passionate, fearless and revolutionary women, who had to fight to satisfy their curiosity, to gain access to knowledge, to follow their instincts and give free rein to their creativity. This is what witches are. Women who rejected the role imposed upon them and forged ahead, heads held high.
An entomologist. A miniaturist. A painter. A nun. An astronomer.
Five women who, with courage and self-respect, subverted the rules and carved out their own place in history, and whom I wanted to bring back from the past to remind us of the importance of following our instincts and believing in ourselves. I wanted to dedicate the space they deserve to these women, a tribute to their intelligence and uniqueness. To spread the message they have left us.
