Saul Leiter arrives in Monza!
Vertigo Syndrome, in collaboration with diChroma Photography and curated by Anne Morin, presents, from 1 May to 27 July 2025 at the Belvedere of the Reggia di Monza, the first major Italian exhibition dedicated to Saul Leiter – the photographer-poet who transformed the streets of New York into canvases suspended between dream and reality.
With more than 200 works – including 126 black and white photographs, 40 colour photographs, 42 paintings and rare archive materials – the exhibition ‘Saul Leiter – A window dotted with raindrops’ reveals the intimate beauty of his shots: blurred taxis, reflections and fragments of life captured behind tarnished glass.
Leiter was not looking for perfection, but for the hidden moment, that fragile moment where colour meets chance.
If you love photography that tells without shouting, that whispers stories behind the rain, this exhibition is for you.
From 1 May to 27 July 2025, Belvedere of the Reggia di Monza.
