NEW EXHIBITIONS COMING THIS WINTER: STREGHERIE AND ITADAKIMASU

Winter opens with two extraordinary exhibitions, two immersive journeys that weave together art, culture and the collective imagination: Stregherie – Iconography, rites and symbols of the heretics of knowledge and Itadakimasu – The hidden stories in the cuisine of anime.

STREGHERIE – ICONOGRAPHY, RITES AND SYMBOLS OF THE HERETICS OF KNOWLEDGE

From 24 October 2025 to 1 February 2026, after the success of the previous editions, Stregherie returns with a new stage in Padua in the space of the Ex Macello Cathedral, exploring the archetype of the witch as a symbolic and political figure. Not just an image from the past, but a living myth, spanning centuries of history, art and culture.
The exhibition unfolds like a secular initiation in nine sections – nine “portals” that lead the visitor through historical documents, artistic works and contemporary suggestions. An itinerary that invites us to overcome commonplaces and discover how the witch, from a victim of repression, became an icon of resistance and knowledge.

ITADAKIMASU – THE HIDDEN STORIES IN ANIME CUISINE

From 15 November 2025 to 6 April 2026, the Spazio Varesina 204 in Milan will be transformed into a sensory journey amidst food tables and stories from the world of Japanese anime. ‘Itadakimasu’ is not only a homage to Japanese cuisine, but a tale made of images, characters and atmospheres that have marked the imagination of entire generations. An exhibition that combines aesthetics, pop culture and taste, offering visitors a unique experience of immersive installations and curiosities on the symbolism of food in animated Japan.

Two exhibitions, two universes. Both united by the idea of discovering what lies behind images we think we know: the witch and the cuisine of anime. Two symbols that tell stories of identity, resistance and conviviality.
